Applications are currently being accepted for our registered three year TELECOMMUNICATIONS apprenticeship program; receive paid on-the-job training, and free classroom training that earns college credit. Applications are accepted in person M-F from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A $10.00 application fee payable in cash or money order and documentation of items 1-5 below are due at the time of application. Requirements for interview are: 1) Minimum 17 yrs. of age. 2) Proof of high school graduation or GED (High School seniors may apply in the 2nd semester.) 3) Submission of high school transcripts or GED scores. 4) Documentation of completion of High School Algebra I or higher. 5) Valid driver's license. 6) Qualifying score on aptitude test (scheduled after previous requirements are met). Starting pay for 1st period apprentices is $10.54 ph + benefits and current JW Installer/Technician pay is $19.24 ph + benefits.
